Swear Words
Kids learn swear words faster than their vocabulary. How do we teach them the right words from the wrong words?

I have three kids in elementary school. They have learned a lot of swear words. Since they did not know which were swear words, we made a list and found substitutes that are ok for them to use.
SWEAR WORD > SUBSTITUTES
f##k > darn, heck
sh## > poop, excrement
b#llsh## > I disagree
st##id > - avoid name calling, period.
b###h > - name calling
a## > rear-end, derrière
p###s > boy's thing
b##bs > girl's things
Jesus Christ! > Oh, my gosh.
h#ll > darn, heck
cr#p > darn, heck
you lied! > Is that correct?
Hope this helps other parents.
Good idea to provide kids a list of substitute words. You left out s##k meaning "this is bad."
Great idea. I'll try this with my children, tonight.
